Kevlar Standard 2002 ITR

Imagine being able to borrow a dollar bill from a spectator, then balancing the bill on your outstretched palm. With no hesitation on your part, you place your finger on top edge of the bill while it magically clings. You immediately remove your other hand leaving the bill clinging to your finger in an inexplicable way.

You move your finger back and forth and the bill stays with your finger yet this seems entirely impossible? Why? Because you immediately remove your finger and the bills stays once again balanced on your palm.

Thus proving that it could not be anything sticky on your finger!

Now the bill slowly rises above your hand, you pass your hands over and under the bill while it is floating. Now for the most amazing part of all, you walk away, leaving the bill suspended in mid-air, you could not possibly be connected to it!

Now wait! It gets even better, the bill slowly and mysteriously floats down to the floor and then without moving a muscle the bill floats back up to your awaiting hand!

This Reel offers advantages over the others that can’t be duplicated when we shrink the size down. So therefore we still manufacture it and we still sell a surprisingly large volume of this particular model.

It is a great starter Reel for the beginner, it is easier to repair and easier to install a new refill when the time comes.

The best feature that I like is that it has a far slower retraction then the other models.

Well, why is this important? For my performance of the Floating Bill, I make the bill Float all the way down to the floor, and due to the nature of this particular model I am able to act like I am causing the bill to slowly levitate from the floor back up to my hand.

This is accomplished by making my hand movement match the rate of speed of the ascending bill. This looks very magical and will create the illusion that you have some kind of powers to make the bill slowly rise, this dispels any possible connection between you and the bill as none of your movements will account for this slow ascension. It psychologically establishes the fact that you could not possibly be connected to it. Leaving no alternative for the spectator other then they must have witnessed real magic!

Which Video best explains this particular Reel? The Vol. 1 ITR video explains in detail how to repair and perform with this model. Vol. 2 also covers the repair information, but the Routines are not specific to this particular REEL same as volume 3.

The Reels size is approximately 6.5” x ½” Diameter, it has a retraction distance of about 12 – 15 feet. It can easily be pinned along the inside of your shirt right were you button it.

The Reel contains a decent quantity of our Super Strong Invisible Thread tm. Unlike the pirate reels our thread is pressure dyed. This means that it is far more invisible and more durable. Due to the nature of the Nylon material it is manufactured from, it is extremely difficult to get the pigment to permeate the Nylon.

The manufacturers of the thread cannot pressure dye it until the thread is already spun together. This means that labor must be spent in order to disassemble the thread, hence the additional expense of our reels by comparison, but a far better and more reliable product for you, after all what is your reputation worth?

None of the exacting features that you find in our reels will be duplicated in a pirate reel, they did not put the thought into it when they designed it, nor do they come with a lifetime guarantee!

This reel is an absolute requirement in the arsenal of tools for the serious thread worker.
